Had a long day...

Let's see, today was a bit of a whirlwind day...for a typical woman, going to Sears, Lane Bryant, Victoria's Secret, Marshalls, and only God knows where else, it probably would have been heaven...but for me...it wasn't heaven until we reached Best Buy ^^. Before I walked in the door I was ready to go home, tired as hell, bored, my feet hurt, and just sick of shopping...the second I walked into Best Buy I forgot about all that stuff. I picked up 512mb of RAM (she had 128mb), a Creative WebCam Instant (she didn't have a webcam before and we are also going to be returning it tomorrow because the Creative WebCam Instant has between a 15-30 frames per second or refresh rate but doesn't have a built in microphone, the Creative WebCam Live will have a built in microphone and I'm sure the refresh rate goes up too), and a task chair (my sister had an old fold up card-table chair..."not comfortable at all" is an understatement). The "Best Buy" of all was the Canon PowerShot A510 Digital Camera, rechargable batteries and charger, and last but not least 128mb SD Card for my trip to Dominican Republic. WOOHOO! Hmm, did I leave anything out? Oh yeah, I did....a bunch of girly clothes...but yeah back to the good stuff...I already put the memory in...unbelievable the change. It's hard to explain the difference to someone who might not know that much about computers but I think my sister grasped the difference when I told her that we put four times the memory in her pc than she originally had and I also showed her all the different screens she could open up at one time, that they open up faster, and the pc doesn't lock up when you try to just change the freakin TIME /pif...then we installed the webcam and contacted my sister's bf in California. While they were getting reunited with each other and their four year old son via webcam I took the opportunity to check out my new camera. I will say that I didn't want a camera that would take over the world but this one sure feels like it can... I am extremely impressed with the ease of use, the clarity, and 4x zoom. I can't wait to start using it, especially in Dominican Republic.
Anyway, here is an example of my first pic with my new camera.

Well, goodnight all and I hope to post more pics very soon...hmm...those cell phone pics suck compaired to this.
